Humans have been using milk thistle seeds medicinally since the 4th century B.C. and the plant was widely consumed as a vegetable. Greeks and Romans used milk thistle as a liver protectant in the first century A.D.
Research shows that the seeds act as a powerful antioxidant, protecting many body cells from damage, as well as direct liver protective and liver repair actions. For this reason, milk thistle is safely used in chronic liver conditions characterised by cell degeneration and impaired function including hepatitis and liver cirrhosis.
Research has also found that milk thistle is well tolerated, has anti-inflammatory actions, helps reduce blood fats and has a broad supportive role in cancer and cancer therapy.

5ml 3 times a day in acute cases, or 5ml once a day for maintenance. Or as recommended by your practitioner.
